For his many years of commitment as Ambassador of the German José Carreras Leukemia Foundation Klaus Meine has been supporting opera singer José Carreras in the fight against leukemia. Now the rock legend and frontman of the band "Scorpions"which in the 80s and 90s achieved world successes such as "Rock You Like A Hurricane", "Still Loving You" or "Wind Of Change" was honored with a Health:Angel. Klaus Meine was unable to come to Cologne due to production and studio recordings, but sent a video message. The Health:Angel was presented in December 2019 at the Kokenhof in Großburgwedel by Martin Kindwho owned the four-star Kokenhof conference hotel until 2021.
